GIJS JOOSEN, ONL, ROTTERDAM

Gijs Joosen of the Dutch architecture studio ONL (Oosterhuis_Lénárd) will present the topic "Architecture = Information". He will show visualization methods based on game engines. And address techniques that feed adaptive building constructs with data in real time to adapt to changing use of their customers. In 2003 Gijs graduated in both Architecture and Design Systems at the University of Technology Eindhoven. He currently holds a position as technical director at ONL. He works for clients such as BMW and VOS, and for projects in Europe, China and in the United Arab Emirates.
